1. superior用作形容词时,本身含有“较”的意思,故不再有比较级或最高级形式,用“superior...to...”表示“两事物的比较”。

1. 当superior用来形容人的时候，有讽刺意味，有“自以为了不起”的意思；
2. 当superior形容物的时候，用于表示其“好质量”时，也是显得做作，使描述显得不可信；
3. “比……强”要用superior to，而不能用superior than；
4. superior和superiority后面都接to ，表示“……高于或好于……”，以A is superior to B和A's superiority to B的结构来表达。
